I'm at my desk at 9.01 to book my tickets for Mariah. Justin tickets didn't appear til nearly 9:10am last week, but somehow the more expensive tickets for Mariah had already gone! Still, I got tickets - seats aren't *too* bad. I had a quick search around and the other non official type ticket sites are already listing their best tickets for like GBP150. Jeezus. At least that's sorted and I have tickets even if they aren't the best ones. I still don't see how the entire two front blocks could have sold out in one minute. Hmmmmm...

Anywho....it's sunny again today which is good. Stuck in work of course. Yesterday was a hideously boring day. It could not have passed any slower. The tempation to call in sick today was super high. Yet, here I am. Wonderful.

Haven't posted anything in here for a while. Mostly, I haven't got much to say. I'm tired and not wanting to be at work - but what else is new, eh?

On the upside, the sun is out.

I had a fun bank holiday weekend though. And I kinda sorta made an unexpected purchase of a new pair of blades - got me some Solomon Agressives to play with. Boy is it weird not to have brakes.

Well, that's it really. I really have nothing to say.

Stolen from Shortlisted and Kali

Stolen from shortlisted :

1. Name your favorite character ever. Yes. You can only pick one. Maybe two:
Ack only two? In the early seasons, it was Buffy. After that Willow. But Xander is up there two. Then there's Angel and um...oh just two huh?

2. Give one line you love: (WARNING - spoilerish answer)
"Get out get out get out!". Heh. I'm kidding. One that pops into mind right now - "Are you gonna go all Dawson on me everytime I have a boyfriend?"

3. Favorite three episodes. Maybe five:
These questions are always so difficult. There's too many to choose from. Passion is always on my list though..right now for others, I'll go for Tabula Rasa, Selfless, Hush, Gingerbread.

4. Favorite villain:
Oooh. Um. Probably AngelDruSpike

5. Favorite song used in a scene:
K's Choice - Virgin State of Mind

6. Favorite season:
2 I suppose. Although 7 is really high up there.

7. Scariest episode:
Conversations with Dead People

8. Best kiss/sex scene/romantic whatever... it can be tame or not:
Hmmmm....that's hard. Willow/Oz first kiss probably.

9. Favorite relationship (of any kind):
I'm one of those Buffy/Angel people. Willow/Oz come a close second.

10. Set/location you'll miss the most:
Hm. Probably the High School Library.

Freakin' rules!

Brilliant concert. Respect to Mr JT.

It was actually really nice to go to an arena concert after doing lots of smaller gig type venues. Myself and shortlisted found ourselves with surprisingly good seats. We were to the left of the stage, nearish to the top, but a perfect view of Justin,a cool arial view of the arena and a view of the entrance to the backstage with justin and his dancers running in and out..

The Portsmouth Posse had been to see him on Thursday at Wembley and said the venue was full of gay justin wannabes.

We, however, seemed to have the crowd of justin's wannabe girlfriends. Millions of girls in the most hilarious outfits - pink was very popular I noticed. I swear, half the fun of concerts is seeing what people turn up in. Some folks really dress us and we're thinking - er why? You're going to spend the evening in a mass of sweaty people and sitting on seats which are, lets face it, not the cleanest things on earth. I took a 'liking' to this dude dressed in a velour matching tracksuit. The top and bottoms both had four large colored squares of grey, dark grey, black and white. Oh..and a white flat cap. I nicknamed him "Plushie".

Support was Jamelia (sp?) who played her one hit single of which I forget the title (possibly something like "Don't Give a Damn"?) and two other really quite dull tracks with um...not the slickest dancers. Justin and his troupe put them to complete shame.

So yeah...the man. Damn good show. Very, very slick. Lots of pyrotechnics (perhaps a bit too much) which kept making me jump. He likes his mics to appear and disappear into the floor. My favorite being when it flew out of one of the trap doors and he caught it in perfect timing. Cool. Hee. He also likes to disappear and appear from the floor. Definately a lot of MJ influences in his set, including the mini crane ride over the audience. Good show, good times. Thumbs up for Justin!

Note to London Arena - when people start dancing, rumbling on the floor and jumping up and down on the sides, it REALLY sways like hell. Thought it might collapse at one point *L*

Weekend was fun. Z & H came up Saturday for the Evening with Clare Kramer and Juliet Landau. Twas fun. Juliet is just *lovely*. (We've all seen Clare at past events - so we already know she's lovely). I was tres disappointed when Juliet had to cancel for the last Nocturnal, so that's she's made it to this one is brilliant.

She is very funny, very chatty and extremely articulate and intelligent. Great lady. Kali - you will love her, I swear.

Took me about 15 minutes to get used to her talking in her normal accent.

I'm sure she'll be just as great next weekend. She had a good way with the fans too - if you've ever been to a convention or that type of talk - you'll know the ridiculous and stupid questions that people ask during guest talks. Some people don't even ask questions, they just make obscure statements - but she managed to expand on everything she was asked. She was really giving. Cool, cool lady.

Can't wait to see her again next weekend.

Roll on End of Days.

Well..been a while since I've made an entry.

Long weekend was good. Why can't people celebrate Easter every weekend so that I can have a nice mini break. Very relaxing. A little retail therapy, a little Super Mario Sunshine and my latest hobby - genealogy. Hope everyone else had an enjoyable weekend.

Just sifting through my friends list - and there's some good stuff on Whedonesque right now. Great pics of the Buffy wrap party, bits and pieces including a review of Nick's sitcom pilot and best of all -American Wedding trailer which I thought was hilarious and I can't wait for the movie. I don't think I'd ever tire of those movies.

Busy times coming up in the run up to End of Days. I'm looking forward to it. Only thing I'm not looking forward to so much is the 2500 people attending. That's a lot of people.

Best thing about these few weeks - a 4 day week last week, a 4 day week this week, a 3 day week the next week and another 4 day one the week after. I *love* short weeks. Anything to get me out of an evil day in the office of boredom is a good thing.

Have a good week people.
